Principal Solution Engineer - Partner Center of Excellence

Why We Have This Role

Our Pre-sales team is passionate about closing experience gaps using our best-in-class SaaS platform, which enables some of the world's largest organisations to drive action through pre-built experience management (XM) programs that anyone can deploy. As a Principal Solution Engineer on the Partner Center of Excellence, you will empower our partners by elevating their pre-sales capabilities and deepening their XM expertise, ultimately driving mutual revenue growth. You'll work closely with partner teams, sales leadership, product, and engineering to design and deliver innovative, scalable solutions that showcase the full power of Qualtrics technology.

Things You'll Do

  • Provide expert pre-sales technical support through demos, presentations, and pilot implementations tailored for partner and strategic accounts.
  • Build and deliver training programs to elevate partner sales teams' product knowledge and demo capabilities.
  • Drive adoption of Qualtrics products within partner organisations and strategic joint accounts, increasing solution footprint.
  • Collaborate closely with product management and engineering to influence product roadmap based on partner and market feedback.
  • Design and present advanced Qualtrics solutions, incorporating third-party complementary services, highlighting future product direction.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving XM requirements to position Qualtrics as a market leader.

What We're Looking For On Your Resume

  • 8+ years of sales or technical experience with SaaS/cloud software, engaging with C-level and VP buyers.
  • Strong ability to explain SaaS architecture including security, APIs, SLAs, and integration protocols.
  • Proven experience enabling and mentoring partner or sales teams to close deals and hit revenue targets.
  • Skilled at architecting solutions that solve complex customer challenges and uncover business drivers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in needs analysis and closing techniques.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments wearing multiple hats.
  • Undergraduate degree in quantitative or business-related fields (e.g., Computer Science, Marketing, Business).
  • Qualtrics certification preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Bonus: Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and prior work in customer or employee experience software.
