Senior Proposal Manager

Why We Have This Role   The Senior Proposal Manager is a key member of our Global Proposal Team, dedicated to driving operational excellence and supporting the successful delivery of strategic proposals worldwide. This role is essential for providing thought leadership and mentorship to junior team members, managing critical proposal tools and licenses, and ensuring seamless proposal processes. By creating this position, we aim to enhance leadership capacity, optimize resource use, and improve both the speed and quality of our proposal outputs. The Senior Proposal Manager will directly contribute to increasing the volume and quality of client-facing proposals, reducing friction with Sales, and ultimately boosting the overall effectiveness and success of the Global Proposal Team.   How You'll Find Success

  • Exceptional Organizational & Tool Management: Meticulous attention to detail in overseeing critical team tools and licenses, including vendor relationships, renewals, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: The capability to anticipate and address operational bottlenecks or challenges before they impact team productivity or proposal quality.
  • Cross-Cultural Communication & Collaboration: Proficiency in fostering effective communication and collaboration across diverse teams and geographical locations.
How You'll Grow
  • Strategic Operations & Technology Project Management: Opportunities to deepen your expertise in managing critical business tools and vendor relationships, influencing our technological infrastructure and operational continuity.
  • High-Impact Proposal Leadership: Lead and contribute to the most strategic and complex proposals, working directly on high-value initiatives that shape our client engagements and business growth.
  • Process Innovation: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying and implementing new processes and best practices that elevate the entire Global Proposals Team's efficiency and output quality.
  • Partnership with Leadership: Work closely with the Global Proposals Team Manager and senior proposal leadership, gaining insights into strategic planning and contributing directly to the team's long-term vision and development.
Things You'll Do
  • Objective: Establish and execute a comprehensive GTM strategy with partners.
  • Key Results: Develop joint execution plans with clear revenue milestones and ensure campaigns align with partner strategies.
  • Objective: Foster strong relationships with partner senior stakeholders.
  • Key Results: Nurture rapport and ensure open communication to align on strategic initiatives and drive partnership expansions.
  • Objective: Track and optimize partner performance metrics.
  • Key Results: Regularly conduct business reviews to measure KPIs and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
  • Objective: Collaborate with sales teams to enhance partner engagement.
  • Key Results: Co-ordinate GTM efforts and ensure partners are strategically positioned throughout the sales cycle.
  • Objective: Champion partner success within Qualtrics.
  • Key Results: Advocate for partners to drive visibility and momentum, while collaborating on motivating incentive programs.
What We're Looking For On Your Resume
  • Proven success in roles demanding meticulous attention to detail and strong process management, such as proposal writing, proposal management, technical writing, project coordination, or administrative support for complex projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance efficiency or uphold high standards in fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional command of written and spoken English, with experience crafting clear, concise, and compelling narratives that simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated graphic design skills, with a strong eye for visual consistency and impact, particularly in proposal development, executive presentations, or business documents.
  • Hands-on experience with key software platforms, including:
    • Proposal Management tools (e.g., Responsive, formerly RFPIO)
    • Design and document creation software (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign)
    • Productivity suites (Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Google Workspace – Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail; Coda.io)
    • Collaboration and communication platforms (Slack)
    • A focus on capabilities and outcomes over “typical qualifications” or years of experience — we want to understand whether you have what this role truly needs, even if you don't check all the boxes.
