Senior CPI Developer

Why We Have This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) & Payroll ABAP Developer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be a key individual contributor responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex integration solutions that connect our diverse systems and drive business efficiency. Your expertise in SAP CPI, Employe Central Payroll ABAP with point to point integration, combined with your proven ability to solve complex integration challenges, will be crucial as you contribute to the seamless flow of data across our enterprise landscape. By leveraging your deep technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, you will deliver robust and scalable integration solutions that support our strategic objectives.   Strong Experience in delivering Success factors cloud integration and technical services by collaborating closely with Product Management and Operations. Good experience in implementing Success factors cloud integrations from various modules like EC, Onboarding, Payroll & Performance & Goals.     How You'll Find Success   Success in the role of Senior SAP CPI/ABAP Developer will be defined by your ability to deliver high-quality, efficient, and reliable integration solutions. Here are several key factors that will contribute to your success:
  • Mastering SAP CPI: Demonstrate deep expertise in SAP CPI development, including iFlow design, Groovy scripting, adapter configuration, and error handling. Continuously enhance your knowledge of new features and best practices.Familiarity with ABAP and APIs development.
  • Solving Complex Integration Challenges: Utilize your analytical and problem-solving skills to design and implement robust integration solutions that address complex business requirements.
  • Delivering High-Quality Code: Adhere to coding standards and best practices, ensuring that your solutions are well-documented, maintainable, and scalable.
  • Collaborating Effectively: Work closely with architects, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements, design solutions, and resolve issues.
  • Embracing Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to optimize existing integrations and improve development processes.
  • Focusing on Performance and Reliability: Ensure that your integration solutions are performant, and reliable.

  • Deepening SAP CPI Expertise: You will expand your knowledge of advanced SAP CPI features and functionalities, becoming a subject matter expert in integration technologies.

  • Expanding Integration Landscape Knowledge: You will gain exposure to a wide range of enterprise systems and integration patterns, broadening your technical skillset.

  • Enhancing Problem-Solving Skills: You will tackle complex integration challenges, strengthening your ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.

Things You'll Do

  • Develop and Implement SAP Integrations: Design, develop, and deploy complex integration solutions using SAP CPI, including iFlows, Groovy scripts, Payroll ABAP development, Point to Point integration BADI's and adapter configurations.

  • Troubleshoot and Debug Integration Issues: Analyze and resolve integration errors, performance bottlenecks, and other technical issues.

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business analysts, architects, and other developers to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful integration deployments.

  • Document Integration Solutions: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures.  

  • Perform Unit and Integration Testing: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of integration solutions.

  • Monitor and Maintain Integrations: Monitor integration performance, identify and address potential issues, and ensure the ongoing stability of the integration landscape.

  • Implement Best Practices: Adhere to coding standards, development methodologies, and security guidelines.

 

What We're Looking For On Your Resume

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP CPI & ABAP development, with a strong understanding of integration patterns and best practices.  

  • Proven experience in designing and developing complex iFlows, including Groovy scripting and adapter configuration.

  • Strong understanding of SAP integration technologies and protocols, such as SOAP, REST, OData, and IDoc.

  • Experience with cloud-based integration platforms and services.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.  

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors is a plus.
