Description
Reporting to the Manager of Radiology this position coordinates delivery of health care services to assist in diagnosis and treatment; directs human and physical resources to achieve an established standard of care in radiologic sciences; exercises professional judgment in performance of duties; assures appropriate patient care management and adjusts daily operations to meet the needs of a changing work environment. This position also provides health care services, applying X-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment; performs radiologic procedures and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner while applying appropriate patient care and recognizing patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure .

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Certification by the State of California (CRT) required.
- Certification by the State of California in Fluoroscopy required.
- MAB test required within 6 months of hire if assigned to work in the Emergency Department.
- Certificate of venipuncture for contrast media injection required within 6-months of hire if establishing new IV access for the purpose of contrast injection.
Compensation Information:
$88753.60 / annually - $128689.60 / annually
