Director, Human Resources
The Human Resources Director is responsible and accountable for the successful delivery of processes and programs and serves as the key Business Partner to the Operations executives. This position will work closely with the Site HR staff and Site Directors to ensure compliant, efficient, and consistent HR best practices throughout. The Human Resources Director owns the performance of the HR functions for multiple assigned sites.
In this role you will:- Be responsible for overseeing and managing local and site HR staff.
- Set site HR goals that are aligned with the company's HR strategic direction, mission/vision to provide an employee-oriented, high performance, continuous improvement culture that emphasizes empowerment, accountability, quality of work, productivity, and achievement orientation.
- Develop initiatives to gain and maintain a competitive advantage in the industry for talent retention focused on salary and benefit administration, talent development, career growth and employee engagement, and satisfaction strategies. Partner with Operations and Support groups for support and resources to move initiatives forward.
- Support the organization in the achievement of its short and long-term goals by providing strategic direction that is aligned with the priorities of the business in the areas of employee relations, policy development and deployment, safety and security, legal compliance, employee welfare services, compensation and benefits, employee retention, talent development / career succession, and corporate social responsibility.
- Align performance management and total rewards and recognition philosophy with business strategic goals to build a high performing culture.
- Perform research, reviews compensation, benefit trends, and emerging talent developing and learning strategies to recommend opportunities and interventions for meeting the organization needs for rapid staffing and business growth.
- Serve as a resource to provide advice to organization leadership on compliance to labor laws and workforce regulations. Installs processes and systems to eliminate and reduce risks of legal exposure.
- Continually review the effectiveness and efficiency of HR systems and end-to-end processes, taking into account all critical pieces within the employee life cycle that impact work life quality, talent retention, and development.
- Reinforce optimization of business results through initiatives and advice on appropriate HR focus, people handling, work alignment, talent review, succession, and organization structure. Support leaders by providing pertinent data when making key talent and workforce decisions.
- Partner with the communities of site locations to initiate and support corporate social responsibility activities, charities, and community immersion missions, thereby leveraging community work to further the company's give-back initiatives and enhance the Results brand as an employer of choice.
COMPLIANCE:
- Plan, execute, and evaluate the site human resources functions and performance.
- Improve the associated HR programs, policies, practices and procedures.
- Implement programs to allow the company to embrace applicants and employees of all backgrounds and to permit the full development and performance of all employees
- Develop the HR competencies of the sites. Develop, document, and enforce appropriate policies and programs for the effective management of the people resources by way of systems that improve the overall operation, effectiveness and financial performance of the company (ie, employee relations, affirmative action/OFCCP, sexual harassment, employee complaints, progressive discipline, promotions/transfers, successful and timely completion of background checks, and adherence to I-9 requirements and other required employment compliance policies).
- Ensure employee understanding of the the compensation and benefits and HR policies and procedures by regularly communicating and counseling.
- Identify and develop high potential leaders within the site HR teams and is an advocate for brand protection, including HR compliance and security, and reinforces the CX360 operating model.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources strategy and delivery.
- 7+ Years HR Generalist experience in a corporate environment with management responsibility.
- 5+ years solid experience in organization and leadership development, talent retention and leveraging human capital, including functional executive/leadership support.
- Strong, demonstrated communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
- Ability to apply HR solutions and pragmatic interventions in diverse business settings or changing and ambiguous business environments.
- Willingness to travel (up to 20% travel)
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Masters Degree, highly preferred but not required.
- BPO Industry experience would be highly preferred.
- HR Certification a plus.
