Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Global Procurement Manager with a minimum of 10 years of expertise in developing and executing procurement strategies across Professional Services, Facilities, and IT categories of spend. The ideal candidate will bring strong skills in spend analytics and supplier management, using data-driven insights to implement global cost-saving initiatives. This role involves overseeing procurement operations in the UK, South Africa, Bulgaria, and Ireland, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
The individual must have a proven track record in sourcing IT hardware and software, Professional Services such as marketing, HR benefits, and insurance policies, as well as Facilities Management, including transportation, security services, Janitorial, HVAC units, and real estate services. Significant experience in managing procurement processes and supplier relationships in the UK, South Africa, Bulgaria, and Ireland is essential, with a comprehensive understanding of the unique procurement landscapes in these regions.
Candidates should demonstrate advanced proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Tableau and Power BI, to analyze global spend trends and identify opportunities for cost optimization. This is a remote position based in India, requiring fluency in English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with global stakeholders and suppliers.
In this role you will:Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Management
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for Professional Services, Facilities, and IT categories, aligning with organizational goals.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, contracting, and supplier performance management, ensuring alignment with global policies.
- Lead Request for Proposal (RFP) initiatives, vendor negotiations, and supplier onboarding processes across target geographies.
Professional Services Procurement
- Oversee procurement for HR benefits, including health insurance, life insurance, wellness programs, and employee assistance programs.
- Manage contracts for professional insurances such as liability insurance, errors and omissions (E&O), and directors and officers (D&O) coverage.
- Evaluate and secure legal, consulting, marketing, and other professional services contracts to meet business needs.
Facilities Procurement
- Develop sourcing strategies for facilities-related spend, including real estate services, maintenance, utilities, security services, janitorial and office supplies.
- Ensure sustainability and cost-efficiency in facilities management contracts and services.
IT Procurement
- Lead sourcing for IT hardware, software, cloud services, and support systems, ensuring vendor compliance with SLAs and data security standards.
- Negotiate with global IT providers to optimize costs and secure value-added services.
Operational Procurement
- Create, review, and issue accurate Purchase Orders (POs) in alignment with company policies, ensuring timely approval and distribution to vendors.
- Communicate and follow up with vendors to confirm order details, track delivery timelines, and resolve discrepancies or delays.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of purchase requisitions, POs, invoices, and vendor communications for audit and compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address procurement needs, clarify requirements, and provide updates on order status or issues.
Spend Analytics & Reporting
- Utilize Tableau, Power BI, and other analytics tools to conduct detailed spend analysis, identify trends, and showcase opportunities for cost reduction.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on global spend, supplier performance, and savings achievements to senior leadership.
- Provide data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and procurement planning.
Vendor Management & Supplier Relations
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key global suppliers to drive performance, innovation, and value creation.
- Monitor vendor performance using KPIs and SLAs, addressing underperformance through corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with contracts and ethical sourcing standards across all supplier engagements.
Global Operations & Compliance
- Work collaboratively with teams across the UK, South Africa, Bulgaria, and Ireland to align procurement processes with regional regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all sourcing activities comply with global procurement policies and local legislation, including labor and tax laws.
- Promote sustainability and diversity in procurement practices, ensuring alignment with corporate social responsibility goals.

- Drive initiatives to achieve cost savings while maintaining service quality and operational efficiency.
- Identify risks within the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies to protect organizational interests.
Employee and Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure alignment of procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to understand category-specific needs and provide procurement guidance and solutions.
- Lead training sessions for stakeholders on procurement tools, policies, and best practices.
Technology and Process Improvement
- Champion the use of advanced procurement tools, including contract management and supplier relationship management platforms.
- Streamline procurement workflows through automation and process optimization.
- Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance procurement efficiency and supplier collaboration.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
- Expertise in managing complex, cross-regional procurement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of global procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multicultural teams and stakeholders.
- Proactive in identifying cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (required).
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification (preferred).
Professional Certifications:
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent certification (preferred).
Experience:
- 10+ years of global procurement experience, with a focus on Professional Services, Facilities, and IT categories.
- Proven track record in sourcing HR benefits, professional insurance, and IT solutions.
- Strong experience working with stakeholders and suppliers in the UK, South Africa, Bulgaria, US, Philippines and Ireland.
- Demonstrated ability to manage spend analytics and create insights using tools like Tableau and Power BI.
