A Solutions Operations Lead (or Sales Development Representative (SDR)) is responsible for identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers by generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, primarily by making cold calls and sending emails, to then pass qualified leads onto the sales team for further engagement; essentially, their role is to build and nurture the sales pipeline by identifying potential customers and determining their level of interest in a company's products or services.

In this role you will:
  • Develop leads and set up our Sales Executives for success.
  • Generate new leads, identify new prospects for our company.
  • Manage the prospective client's initial relationship.
  • Communicate with prospective clients via phone and email.
  • Keep up to date on product knowledge, industry information and competitive landscape.
  • Navigate leads & break down barriers so our Sales Executives can secure new clients.
  • Lead from the front – be a pathfinder who helps secure revenue that impacts the entire company.
  • Work closely with our elite team of Sales Executives to generate demand and reach prospective clients.
  • Maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales.

 

We are looking for someone who has:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or closely related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted.  
  • A minimum of two years of experience in BPO, call center, sales, customer service or related field, with at least one year in lead generation or business development is preferred.
  • Proficiency in dialers, CRMs, and prospecting tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, Pardot, Zoominfo, Sales navigator.
  • Ability to work alone or in small groups.
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong self-motivation and be target driven.
  • To be willing to get outside of your comfort zone and engage multiple prospects daily.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients.
  • Ability to rapidly adapt to changes in the business landscape.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, willingness to learn new software.
