Summary

The Senior IT Oracle EBS Analyst will serve as an application and business process expert specializing Oracle e-Business techno-function competencies with expertise in Oracle Financials Modules GL, AP and FA. Responsible for partnering with business/function management to assess project requirements, to lead design and delivery of solutions and to determine the best use of technology and system capabilities and functionality to fulfil requirements of the business. Interact with Rexel's business users and IT. Provide support to existing functionality as well as implement new projects/capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Interact with the business customer to support both the IT and Finance sides of Oracle Financials
• Serve as an application (functional and technical) and data expert
• Create technical design documents and migration documents based on the business/functional requirements
• Develop system enhancements, reports and data integrations into Oracle modules or other third-party systems
• Design, develop code, and create unit test plans for ensuring application code is functioning correctly
• Complete analytical work to resolve production issues, then either fix the issue (process or program change) and/or define changes needed to fix issue to 3rd party vendor
• Develop and deliver user training and user documentation
• Build productive and lasting relationships with business leaders, stakeholders, infrastructure team and various development teams across the organization
• Work independently with business users to define concepts under direction of project managers
• Develop and execute system functional or end-to-end integration, regression and user acceptance test plans to check functional and technical solutions, and where possible, make recommendations for improvement
• Analyze and plan Oracle EBS upgrades
• Create and resolve service requests in collaboration with “My Oracle Support”
• Provide production support as per SLAs
• Continuously improve system performance and reliability by identifying opportunities for root cause analysis and automation
• Other duties as assigned

What You'll Need

• BA or BS in Accounting, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience supporting and technology of Oracle EBS
• 7+ years of experience in Oracle Financials development
• 7+ years of experience SQL, PL/SQL
• Hands-on Oracle Finance Functional experience in R12
• OA/ADF Framework, Java, Oracle Application Express (Oracle APEX)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of Oracle ERP concepts and financial business processes
• Strong knowledge in PL/SQL scripts, SQL query and UNIX
• Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow Builder, XML Publisher 
• Solid understanding of the Oracle e-Business R12 technical architecture and underlying table structures
• Ability to recommend best practices using the EBS architecture
• Strong functional knowledge in the Financial Functional modules: GL, AP and Fixed Assets
• Requirements gathering and documentation
• Good communication, analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Ability to earn trust and build credibility with clients across technical and functional areas.
• Ability to think critically and solve complex issues
• Ability to work independently, while engaging the customer and providing information to team
• Demonstrated analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to handle concurrent responsibilities and tasks under pressure, within required timeframes 
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication skills
