Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a QA Selector located in Winnipeg.  You will support Richardson's business units through continuous improvement and sustainability of Corporate Quality Assurance and Food Safety programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Visually assess grain and oilseed commodity samples, support internal teams with timely and accurate quality information
  • Analyze data trends, ensure contract compliance, and provide practical guidance to stakeholders
  • Develop and deliver training on quality assessment and food safety practices
  • Set and maintain standards for quality assessment and calibration, aligned with corporate and regulatory requirements
  • Lead investigations into quality and food safety incidents, collaborating with multiple stakeholders
  • Keep current with industry practices and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in science, agriculture, or a related field, or 2+ years of relevant experience in agriculture or quality assurance
  • Solid understanding of quality assurance systems and agricultural practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to lead initiatives and deliver effective training
  • Required travel of approximately 10% annually
