Position Summary: The Lead Client Service Representative provides frontline support by answering calls, verifying client information, and coordinating chart creation and referrals. The role includes assisting with insurance eligibility, authorizations, recordkeeping, and responding to internal and external requests in a timely and confidential manner. Additionally, this position serves as a lead and supports the Director in training and managing day-to-day functions within the administrative departments. Key Responsibilities: To answer phone calls promptly and courteously, collect and verify all client demographics to create and/or reopen client charts. Assist and respond to calls from potential clients and referral sources on a daily basis or within 24#48 hours. To support checking insurance eligibility. Which includes calling commercial insurance providers to identify plan coverage.# To submit new and updated insurance to RVCC Billing group To accurately handle correspondence, recordkeeping, database maintenance, and release of information procedures in a time-sensitive manner.# Serve as a lead and support the Department Director in training and managing day-to-day functions within the administrative departments. Assist administrative departments in projects as needed and perform other duties relative to site operations, as assigned or directed. Qualifications: Required: Education: High School Diploma or GED. 1-2 years# experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant or other office work.#Proficiency in using RVCC#s EHR (Carelogic) and computer systems accurately and effectively. A commitment to customer service and client contact is required with an ability to relate to individuals of all ages and culturally diverse backgrounds at all levels of the socio-economic strata; knowledge of developmental needs over the age span of the populations/clients being served. Excellent verbal and written communication skills;effective management and planning skills; interpersonal skills; crisis intervention skills; organizational skills; attention to detail; ability to work within deadlines; knowledge of legal and ethical issues pertaining to the profession all required. # Preferred: Experience in human services or working in a physician#s office is preferred.# Knowledge of insurance, including being able to verify eligibility, benefits, and coverage of specific service codes preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish)#preferred.
