Summary

RNDC is looking for talented and energetic Express Store Manager to join our growing Field Sales team. The Express Store Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the assigned store. Will drive the financial and sales goals, manage oracle-based system, product, displays, credit, customer care, store clerks, and enforcement of store policies and procedures. The Express Store Manager will manage store appearance, positive environment, quality transactions and uphold Company values and ethics.

In this role, you will

Manage daily operations of the express store. 
• Perform a variety of duties personally and/or supervise employees performing duties. Plan and prepare work schedules and assign employees to specific duties. 
• Train, develop and assess performance of sales associates in all aspects of the business to ensure they have the skills, product knowledge and operations skills to provide a quality customer experience. 
• Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, merchandise presentations, and signage is current and displayed properly. 
• Review store trends and report such trends to the Director of Express Stores-CA. 
•Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through regular store management meetings, store walk-through and audits, etc. 
• Adhere to company procedures for cash handling, inbound & transfer of products, invoicing, will calls & samples, and security & safety. 
• Communicate effectively with the Director of Express Stores-CA and peers. Collaborate with Director of Express Stores-CA to establish clear performance goals and objectives. 
• Monitor, analyze, and measure sales performance; develop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed sales goals/quotas and objectives for the region. Manage computer system (Oracle) for optimum utilization and train store staff on transaction activities to improve quality store results 

What you bring to RNDC

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred; OR equivalent experience; AND 5 years of retail experience and retail management preferred. Must have experience in supervision, management, and training of employees. Must have extensive cash handling experience, which requires ability to perform simple math functions, calculate discounts, percentages, and volumes. This position requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. This position further requires the ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. This position also requires the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions or groups of managers, customers, and employees. This position requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. This position also requires the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. This position requires the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. This position also requires the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. 
SKILLS/ABILITIES: 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) environment. 
• Strong sales skills and the ability to ensure customer satisfaction daily while maintaining operations within a retail store environment. 
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer-service skills with emphasis on building partnerships. 
• Strong organizational and time management skills. 
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES: 
• Sales Function (TSA000): Knowledge of the major responsibilities, accountabilities, and organization of the sales function and sales information systems. 
• Sales Tasks & Activities (TSA100): Knowledge of processes, tools, techniques, and theory behind selling the organization's products or services.

 Compensation

This compensation information is a good faith estimate and provided in accordance with California's state law. Similar positions located outside of this jurisdiction may not necessarily receive the same compensation. The salary generally starts at $57,200.00 up to $81,700.00, and is a combination of base salary plus monthly earned commissions if applicable. The salary is an estimate based on an applicant's skills and experience.
