SummaryThe New Item Setup Manager will be responsible for managing a team tasked with the final setup of items in local ERPs, supporting critical business operations across the Supplier Excellence Group, Master Data Management, and Commercial Finance. This role ensures the proper and timely setup of new items in each state within the RNDC network, meeting and exceeding objectives through effective team management and coordination.
In this role, you will- Manage a team of New Item Set Up Coordinators, ensuring efficient and accurate setup of new items in the MDM website.
- Oversee data entry processes, train the team to identify discrepancies, and ensure accuracy before processing requests.
- Maintain the New Item Set Up Portal (SharePoint and PowerApps), updating distribution lists, access levels, and adapting to new workflows.
- Develop and refine routine processes and procedures for product management, ensuring data integrity across systems.
- Coach, develop, and train team members, fostering strong working relationships with other departments.
- Conduct performance reviews and implement progressive discipline when necessary to maintain high standards.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to identify and implement improvements in item setup processes.
- Ensure effective communication and engagement with portfolio managers and market stakeholders to support accurate and timely new item setup.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college; five or more years of related experience, including experience in the specified focus area.
- Two years of RNDC experience with strong knowledge of RNDC systems (ERPs, eRNDC, MDM website); seven or more years of equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to understand basic cost structures, recognize gross profit leakage, work independently and within a team, make decisions based on various situations, and rationalize actions according to different suppliers' costing methodologies
- Basic ERP data integrity, advanced Microsoft Excel, proven ability to learn and troubleshoot software systems, and familiarity with SharePoint, PowerApp, and PowerAutomate.
- Familiarity with RNDC ERPs, MicroStrategy, and Vistaar.
- Familiarity with RNDC ERPs, MicroStrategy, Vistaar, Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
