SummaryRNDC is looking for an organized and passionate Region Director, Human Resources III to join our Corporate Human Resources team. This leadership role is considered a Senior Level HR Professional, as defined by the SHRM HR Competency Model. The primary role of the Region Director, Human Resources will be to serve as a strategic HR Business Partner to one or more Region Presidents providing leadership, direction, and execution on the RNDC Human Capital Strategic Plan.
This HR Leadership role is responsible for the successful performance of a large field-based HR professional team. In addition, the Region Director HR is a member of the RNDC Human Resources senior leadership team and expected to play an active role in discussions of any nature in helping shape the human capital strategy for the Company. The scope of responsibility includes leading and executing, through others, the RNDC HR Strategic Plan. In this role, you will
- Demonstrates the ability to apply the principles and practices of human resource management to contribute to the success of RNDC at the senior HR level. The scope of expertise includes: Strategic Business Management; Workforce Planning and Employment; Human Resource Development; Compensation and Benefits; Employee and Labor Relations; HR Technology; Talent Management and Change Management.
- Demonstrates the ability to strategically partner with senior managers, leaders, and executives on HR practices.
- Ensures the RNDC HR Strategic Plan and its processes/policies/programs are communicated, implemented, and executed with success for assigned teams and business units. Understands and leads strategic business management practices that ensures the Company's vision is achieved.
- Designated as the Subject Matter Expert on the full-scope of HR practices: Workforce Planning and Employment; Compensation; Employee and/or Labor Relations; HR Technology; Talent Management; and Change Management.
- Provides HR functional expertise and thought leadership on cross-functional teams, projects, and region-level initiatives in regards to human capital best practices.
- Ten or more years related HR Manager/Director experience with experience leading and managing a professional HR Team inclusive of Managers. Experience required with business partnership with key leaders of a large business unit. Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university preferred. Consideration is given for equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, senior leaders, customers, suppliers, and the general public.
- Must lead and carry out supervisory and management responsibilities in accordance with RNDC's policies and applicable laws for the Human Resources function. There is about 50+% travel required for the position to business units outside the assigned home office. Field presence is estimated at 40%.
