Title: Caregiver and Workforce Clinical Program Coordinator

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Psychology Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Designs, implements, and evaluates comprehensive psychosocial interventions that support both family caregivers of cancer patients and healthcare workers (HCWs). Combines clinical expertise with program development and educational resource creation to address emotional, behavioral, and systemic challenges in caregiving and healthcare environments.Starting hourly rate for this position is $39.47. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience
License and Certification Requirement
1. New York State Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); or
2. New York State Licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
Education and Experience
Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or a related field and three (3) years of experience in program development and group-based interventions.
NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold a valid LCSW-R or LMHC credential and possess 3+ years of experience in:
- Program development, particularly in behavioral health or psychosocial support settings.
- Designing and facilitating group-based interventions, with demonstrated success in outcomes and engagement.
In addition, the candidate should have:
- Direct experience working with caregivers of cancer patients, or strong knowledge of the unique emotional, psychological, and logistical challenges they face.
- A deep understanding of the burnout drivers affecting healthcare workers (HCWs), including systemic stressors, compassion fatigue, and workload-related pressures.
- The ability to translate this understanding into supportive programming and interventions that promote resilience and well-being.
