1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Serves as an administrator for Clinical Research Staff; directs, develops and coordinates the function of clinical research with a focus on Regulatory within guidelines of the Code of Federal Regulations, International Conference on Harmonization and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and Roswell Park and Clinical Research Services (CRS) Standard Operating Procedures; manages Roswell Park CRS personnel utilizing a shared governance model; promotes an environment that is conducive to professionalism, ongoing advancement and excellence in practice; assesses the needs of personnel to resolve issues; interfaces with Roswell Park departments, committees, external partners, study sponsors and oncology research cooperative groups to ensure a collaborative approach to clinical research; facilitates and assesses process improvement, identification of best practices and standardization within CRS, other Roswell Park departments and study sponsors to provide for accurate, efficient, timely and cost-effective clinical research and clinical care practices; supports processes to ensure compliance with requirements for grants/contracts and other outside funding; participates on various Roswell Park committees and in professional organizations; encourages and facilitates original research development for CRS staff; promotes Roswell Park as a Center of Clinical Research Excellence. This position includes a base pay and geographic differential. The total combined salary range for this position is $98,922 - $121,857 annually which also includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications: Required Education and ExperienceCertification Requirement
1. Current certification by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP); or
2. Current certification by the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA); or
3. Other comparable research-related certifications recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as appropriate for this title.
Education and Experience
1. Master's degree in an appropriate field and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time clinical research experience; or
2. Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time clinical research experience.
NOTE:
1. Incumbents must obtain certification through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) or the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) or from other comparable research-related certifications recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as appropriate for this title within one (1) year of appointment as a condition of continued employment.
2. Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
