Title: Senior Organizational Development Specialist

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Organizational Development Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Serves as an internal expert on Organizational Development (Org Dev) interventions, leading the design and facilitation of strategic initiatives to enhance performance, culture, and leadership development across the organization. Collaborates with the Director of Organizational Development, Org Dev team members, and internal clients to plan, develop, and implement projects that address individual and organizational challenges across multiple areas of expertise, driving sustainable change in critical processes. Develops and coordinates solutions for a wide range of Org Dev and talent management programs to maximize organizational success. Applies organizational development theories, methods, and tools to solve business problems across various operational areas. Communicates strategies effectively and facilitates small group meetings to drive sustained change and support high-performing teams. Builds trust-based partnerships with diverse clients and key stakeholders to deliver growth and development solutions that meet current and future operational needs. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, one of the Behavioral Sciences or related discipline and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time experience designing, developing and coordinating initiatives that drive individual and/or team performance improvement; or
2. Associate's degree in Psychology, Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, one of the Behavioral Sciences or related discipline and the equivalent of eight (8) years of full-time experience designing, developing and coordinating initiatives that drive individual and/or team performance improvement.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

✔️ Strategic Consulting & Facilitation

  • Demonstrated success leading strategic Org Dev initiatives that span departments or impact organization-wide goals
  • Strong facilitation skills with diverse groups, including mid- to senior-level leaders, using methods grounded in best practice and inclusive learning strategies
  • Experience guiding clients through diagnostics, needs assessments, and data-informed recommendations to solve business challenges

✔️ Program Design & Delivery

  • Proven ability to design and implement development programs from concept through evaluation, including team development, leadership training, and culture-shaping initiatives
  • Proficiency with learning platforms (e.g., Workday, HealthStream) and experience designing programs that combine LMS content with informal learning methods

✔️ Change Management & Performance Metrics

  • Hands-on experience supporting or leading enterprise change management efforts, including stakeholder engagement and adoption strategies
  • Ability to design, implement, and evaluate effectiveness metrics for Org Dev programs; familiarity with survey tools and platforms to track impact and trends

✔️ Collaboration & Relationship Building

  • Strong relationship-building and consulting skills; able to partner with HR, DEI, Compliance, Legal, and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to coach, advise, and build trust with clients and colleagues, using emotional intelligence and clarity of communication

✔️ Technology, Communication & Project Management

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Teams, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and digital communication tools such as Power BI, Canva, or Adobe
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to design and deliver compelling development content and strategic communications
  • Experience managing multiple, parallel Org Dev projects in a fast-paced environment with accountability to deadlines and deliverables
