Are you an engineering coordinator looking for a dynamic company to join?  Due to our steady growth, we are seeking an engineering coordinator to provide support to the vehicle engineering group (or other engineering group) with administrative activities such as tracking, managing, coordinating, and communicating issues, engineering changes, and program related issues. This position will be located in our Dearborn, MI facility.

As an Engineering Coordinator, you will:

  • Facilitate and track fabrication or build projects, by acting as a single point of contact between the shop and engineering
  • Compile build information/notes and populate build books
  • Participate with manufacturability design reviews
  • Coordinate shipments of vehicle/parts both internally and externally
  • Perform incoming vehicle inspections and pre-shipment inspections
  • Support vehicle testing ensuring test readiness for both test facility and equipment required

To be considered for as an Engineering Coordinator, you will need:

  • Associates degree in business or technical area or minimum two years' experience
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Prior training a technician automotive or mechanical
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read technical prints and assembly instructions

A successful candidate may also have:
  • Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends
