About the Job:
The Inventory Planning Analyst will be responsible for providing high level operational support for a large third party logistics and transportation provider. They will ensure compliance with company and location policies, procedures, and work instructions in order to provide a safe and productive work environment, optimum customer service and accurate records. The position is responsible for: - Guiding, training and directing employees. - Creating, documenting and implementing standard operating processes to solve complex problems. - Working directly with customers, managers, supervisors and hourly employees in the organization. They may also interact with the customer depending on the complexity and scope of the account. All work is subject to review by the LM/SLM/GLM and Ryder Corporate Process Owners such as Finance, Human Resources, Safety, etc. Error could result in customer dissatisfaction, loss of profit, safety or security incidents.

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Essential Functions
- Ensure the success of operation efforts by managing the inventory levels and flow between locations. Responsible for maintaining inventory levels as to not impact the customer or their business. Enhance operating efficiency and improve customer satisfaction by identifying inefficiencies and updating standard operating procedures.
- Prepare and analyze site Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics. Communicate with locations that are not meeting metrics. Identify reasons and provide coaching on how to improve on the KPI metrics. Create Ad-Hoc reports utilizing Macro VBA's. Update, correct or create new Macro VBA's as needed.
- Analyze reports to identify inventory trends and usage. Research and determine root cause analysis and provide solutions. Provide assistance to customer sites either by phone or onsite as required.
- Creates implements and administers assurance processes and procedures and conducts audits. Present opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain, Logistics
- Two (2) years or more Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics or relevant work experience required

Compensation Information :
The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:
