Summary

The Inventory Coordinator II monitors that all warehouse sites are performing and executing daily inventory control measures and auditing tasks to ensure and maintain a high level of inventory accuracy, both physically and systematically. This individual is responsible for maintaining inventory integrity, facilitating efficient order fulfillment, and contributing to a safe and orderly working environment.

Essential Functions

  • Monitor that all warehouse sites are performing and executing daily inventory control measures and auditing tasks to ensure and maintain a high level of inventory accuracy both physically and systematically.
  • Participate, lead, communicate and monitor product re-versioning, POS distribution and all customer special inventory projects as assigned.
  • Responsible for ensuring all inventory related transactions are posted and reported according to process guidelines and time allotted.
  • Liaise with Logistics Supervisor and Managers, support groups, customers and clients to communicate effectively all inventory issues, requirements and deadlines and to provide routine management information on inventory performance.
  • Ensure materials are ready and available for production when required.
  • Assist in scheduling, conducting and overseeing regular inventory count activities and random audits.
  • Collaborate with the IT (Information Technology) department to help create daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved.
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system.
  • Provide the appropriate training, development and coaching of the Inventory Control Team on inventory related process.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills , Required
  • Proficient in French written and verbal communication skills For Quebec locations only, Required
  • Must be computer literate and able to use the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Word required) as well as automated warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400, SAP and PKMS, Required
  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills , Required
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices, Required
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team Able to work within a diverse environment, Required
  • Performs work independently with minimal supervision Have initiative and able to work under pressure, Required
  • Effective leadership skills ,
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors). ,

Qualifications

  • College degree/Technical Certification in in a related field. A combination of other education and experiences will be considered., Required
  • 3 years or more in in a fast-paced warehouse environment performing warehouse duties and production cycle count transactions., Required
  • 5 years or more in in all aspects of warehousing, freight logistics and inventory control., Required
  • 1 year or more in with an RF scanner., Required

Compensation Information :
