SAIC is seeking an Advanced Technical Operations Analyst. The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced operator, aviator (Fighter/Bomber Pilot, Weapons System Officer, Remotely Piloted Aircraft Operator), Weapon School Intelligence Officer, or Space Operations Officer that will work to develop, advocate, and integrate Air Combat Command program requirements across the ACC staff, Department of Defense, and the Intelligence Community. This position will act as a subject matter expert supporting Joint Capabilities Integration and Developmental System Requirements generation and provide expertise in military operations and exercises, employment of emergent capabilities, and support on-going capability development objectives. The candidate will support ACC/A28S.  ACC/A28S is responsible for the capability development of multi-domain sensing supporting the United States Air Force and acts as the ACC focal point for the planning, organizing, training and equipping of cutting edge, highly classified technologies supporting the Combat Air Forces.

This position is 100% onsite located at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton, VA. This position will require some CONUS/OCONUS travel.

  • RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Act as a subject matter expert supporting ACC/A28S capability-development activities.
  • Provide operational, technical, and analytical assistance to document MAJCOM and Special Access Program requirements.
  • Regularly interface with DOD, Intelligence Community, Air Staff, MAJCOMs, Numbered Air Forces, and other government organizations when performing duties associated with A28S.
  • Provide advice and assistance to leadership in the areas of mission needs and requirements analysis, concept of operations, program tradeoff analysis, program roadmap creation including technology insertion, platform integration, and support planning.
  • Recommend policy changes and support the communication of policy changes between the DOD and the IC.
  • Assist in the drafting, review, and implementation of procedures, policy, and guidance for incorporation into Combat Air Force (CAF) operations.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree and fourteen (14) years' experience; Master's degree and twelve (12) years' experience.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

  • TS/SCI required to start; ability to obtain a TS/SCI with CI Poly to maintain employment
  • US citizenship required

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior leaders
  • Experience with Special Access Program policies and requirements
  • Strong background in intelligence & targeting, joint and theater operations, and aviation operations
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent research skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Solid understanding of intelligence planning, targeting, joint operations and application in highly contested environments.
  • Experience with Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, air-to-air and/or air-to-ground weapons.
  • Experience in Joint operations or ability to demonstrate a good working knowledge of operational planning and operational execution at joint and theater level.
