SAIC is seeking a dedicated and technically adept Intern to support our Automation Project Team. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in streamlining programmatic processes through Power Platform and SharePoint. This position provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with automation tools and to contribute to meaningful projects that enhance operational efficiency.  This position is remote.

This is a paid internship.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Automation Project Team to design, develop, and implement solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI) and SharePoint.
• Assist in the analysis of business processes to identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
• Develop and maintain custom applications and workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Create and manage SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and permissions to support project needs.
• Test and evaluate automation solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and performance standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power Platform applications and SharePoint.
• Document project requirements, design specifications, and user guides.
• Provide training and support to end-users on newly developed applications and workflows.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to the planning and execution of project tasks.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• High School and three (3) or more years of college coursework 
• Basic understanding of SharePoint
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• US Citizenship
• No clearance required to start; Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust requiring to maintain employment

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
