SAIC is seeking a Help Desk Technician/Trainer Analyst - Consolidated Aviation Maintenance Management System (CAMMS) to support efforts in Huntsville, AL.

Job Description:

  • This position is in support of the Consolidated Aviation Maintenance Management System fielded to U.S. Army Aviation manned and unmanned units
  • Position is to perform help desk duties and functioning as an Army Aviation Maintenance Subject Matter Expert in the continued development of CAMMS software releases
  • As a CAMMS help desk technician you will field, manage and resolve software issues encountered by the U.S. Army Aviation CAMMS/LMMS users
  • The Help Desk Technician/Trainer will communicate software procedures and database management processes to U.S. Army Aviation users
  • As a Help Desk Technician/Trainer you will coordinate with platform Program Management Offices to ensure all Aviation assets are properly tracked and monitored within the CAMMS Software, to include movement of Aircraft and equipment within the CAMMS/LMMS Organizational structure
  • The Help Desk Technician/Trainer is a direct liaison between the software development team and software users in the field prioritizing and advising on Army Aviation maintenance processes and procedures to include Readiness Reporting, TAMMS-A, and Aircraft Historical record keeping
  • This position requires personnel to maintain a professional appearance and possess the mannerisms required for interfacing with military leadership

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of related experience; six (6) years equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree 

Required Skills:

  • Active, Reserve and Army National Guard Aviation Unit Organizational Structure
  • Knowledge of SQL and relation database management
  • Knowledge and understanding of Army Aviation Maintenance principles and the Army Maintenance Management System – Aviation (TAMMS-A)
  • Candidate must have the ability to work independently, prioritize work, and explain complicated software procedures to users over the telephone
  • Knowledge in Aircraft Notebook (ACN) software
  • Specified knowledge on multiple Aircraft Mission Design Series (MDS)
  • Active SECRET security clearance
