SAIC seeks an experienced and energetic Cybersecurity Engineer Manager to directly support, and lead cybersecurity efforts associated with the modernization of the space launch ranges, meeting mission requirements, providing range capabilities, and supporting the Assured Access to Space (AATS) mission. The overarching purpose of the program is to perform system modernization and digital transformation projects that will enable the acceleration of the space launch cadence to enable the Spaceport of the future. This position is located at Patrick SFB, Florida.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The Cyber Lead shall be responsible for design, development, and integration of cyber systems and subsystems in support each of the contract Task Description Letters (TDL) / Task Direction Plans (TDP), aka Task Orders.
  • This includes specific capabilities spanning the cyber and mission domain, as well as cyber functionality in the other domains to maximize probability of success and to support processes such as gaining Authority to Operate (ATO) approval from the Government.

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience.

Desired Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Information Security / Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT/Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline and fourteen (14) years of experience working on DoD, Space systems/AF, and/or joint and interagency cyberspace programs spanning architecture requirements generation, development, integration, operations, and sustainment or Master's degree in an Information Security / Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT/Computer Science or and twelve (12) years of systems integration and systems engineering related or equivalent experience working on DoD, Space systems/AF, and/or joint and interagency cyberspace programs spanning architecture requirements generation, development, integration, operations, and sustainment.

Required Experience:

  • Experience leading a geographically distributed team.
  • Possess one of the following certifications:
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
    • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
    • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
    • Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA).
  • Experience hosting cloud-based and hybrid cloud/on-premises network solutions (e.g., AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud platform, IBM cloud).
  • Experience designing and developing cloud-native scalability and distributed applications that leverage micro-service architecture.
  • A minimum of three years' experience with each of the following:
    • Zero trust architectures.
    • NIST 800 53.
    • NIST 800 190.
    • Kubernetes environments.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience leading cyberspace programs within DoD, Director of National Intelligence (DNI), and/or joint cyber programs, to include experience with all of the following:
    • Defensive Cyber Operations.
    • Offensive Cyber Operations.
    • DoD Information Networks (DODIN).
    • Cyber Situational Awareness.
    • Cyber Command and Control.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience leading systems-level analysis, requirements generation, integrating computer hardware/software development and software SE, and modeling and simulation.
  • Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) including generating, analyzing, and maintaining a digital model.
  • Familiarity with team and administrative collaboration and analysis tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, Access, and Project.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience in large Government systems acquisition.
  • Thorough understanding of space systems design, integration and test requirements and test execution, including test equipment support.

Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
