SAIC is looking for a Cybersecurity Project Manager Lead to support the Enterprise Security Operations Center (ESOC) at the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) to monitor, detect, and respond to safeguard the Nuclear Security Enterprise (NSE) ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability identifying, detecting, preventing, and coordinating the response and recovery efforts in response to cyber threats to protect the NNSA's critical production environments and information and operational technology systems. Work will be located at the customer facility in Washington, DC or potentially Las Vegas, NV and will require a Top Secret or DOEQ clearance to start.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

 

Deep understanding of cybersecurity and project management principles. Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle security incidents and vulnerabilities. Ability to work effectively with other IT teams and stakeholders. 

Qualifications

Requirements and Skills 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or Cybersecurity OR 

Master's degree in a relevant field. 

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in information security. At least 8 years of experience managing IT or cybersecurity projects. This includes planning, execution, and closing projects. 

  • Significant hands-on experience in cybersecurity or IT, including familiarity with security protocols, risk assessment, and threat management. 

  • Proven experience in leading teams and coordinating with various departments. 

  • One of the following certifications is required: CISSP, PMP, CISM, CSPM  

  • A DOE Q or Top Secret level security clearance is required to start 

  • Must be able to maintain a DOE Q level security clearance 


Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
