SAIC is actively seeking a Electromagnetic Warfare Training Specialist to support USASOC in Fort Bragg, NC.
Job Description:
The Training Specialist works under the direct supervision of Irregular Warfare Proponent supervisor or manager who provides guidance on overall objectives, priorities, and resource allocation. The supervisor or manager reviews the Training Specialist's work for general effectiveness, consistency with organizational policies and procedures, and adherence to instructional design principles and adult learning theory. The Training Specialist is expected to work independently, making decisions and taking actions that are technically sound and valid, and to seek guidance from the supervisor or manager as needed. The supervisor or manager provides feedback on the Training Specialist's performance, including evaluation of the quality and effectiveness of training programs, materials, and delivery, and provides coaching and development opportunities to enhance the Training Specialist's skills and knowledge.
The Training Specialist is responsible for analyzing training needs, designing, developing, and evaluating training programs and materials to support the training needs of SWCS in the Training Development Capability (TDC) and other required Army Automation Systems of Record. The incumbent will apply principles of instructional design to develop training materials and programs, and work with instructors and other stakeholders to prepare them to deliver training. The Training Specialist will also collaborate with instructors and other stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement, ensuring that training programs meet quality standards and are compliant with regulations.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years or more of related experience; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree
Required Security Clearance:
- Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
Required Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Army and TRADOC instructional design principles and adult learning theory
- Ability to analyze data and information to identify training needs and develop solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledgeable of Training Development Capability (TDC)
- Must request a SOCOM NIPR/ SIPR account and a SOCRATES account
- Must be co-located with the Irregular Warfare Proponent
- Must have experience in Electromagnetic Warfare
