SAIC is seeking an Engineering Lead to support a comprehensive technical modernization effort supporting DIA's intelligence mission in the Washington, DC and surrounding areas. This effort focuses on advancing big data analytics, AI/ML capabilities, and cloud-based solutions to enhance military intelligence processing and decision-making. 

Please note that this is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated decision expected by fall 2025.

The Engineering Lead responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Cloud systems plans and strategy; design, development, and deployment of applications into a Cloud or Hybrid Cloud; and implementation of enterprise infrastructure and platforms required for cloud computing
  • Architecting and leading the development and integration of cloud-based information and computer systems that meet specific needs
  • End-to-end cloud deployment experience, from concept development to deployment

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
  • Bachelors and 18 years or more experience; Masters and 16 years or more experience; PhD and 15 years or more experience
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience supporting architecture design, development, implementation, and maintenance
  • A minimum of one of the following professional certifications: Professional Cloud Solutions Architect (PCSA), AWS Solutions Architect (Professional)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with one of the large cloud-computing infrastructure solutions similar to AWS or Elastic MapReduce
  • Experience supporting highly distributed applications
  • Experience leading a cross-functional technology team
  • Possess one of the following AWS Certifications: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator (Associate), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (Professional), AWS Certified Big Data (Specialty)
  • Experience utilizing Agile development methodologies and Application Lifecycle Management
  • Experience working with programming languages such as Java, C++, JSON, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, Pig/Hive, and/or Elixir

Target salary range: $200,001 - $240,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
