SAIC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an entry-level Engineering Technician in North Charleston, SC.
Job Duties:
- Installing equipment into racks, labeling cables, running cables.
- Read and interpret drawings and wiring diagrams to effectively interconnect rack components.
- Identify and report design or fitment issues and work with drafters and engineers to resolve issue quickly to minimize production delays.
- Must be able to multitask and adapt to rapid changes that are made during the build process.
- Provide technical support during system testing.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- High school education or equivalent (GED) and two (2) years related experience
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Required Security Clearance:
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
- Candidate must have the ability to operate effectively in a team environment and able to take direction and constructive criticism.
