SAIC has an immediate need for a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to work with the Defense Readiness Reporting System Sustainment team.
NOTE: This position will be 100% remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively to maintain, development new components and deploy application software for the Department of Defense (DOD) using required technologies
- Develop software solutions that leverage automation and integrate with existing systems to enhance operational excellence
- Stay current with industry trends and source new ways for our business to improve
- Participate in the creation of a containerization strategy and execute it to improve scalability and portability
- Contribute to the creation of system documentation and update it regularly
Qualifications
Required Education:
- BS degree and five (5)+ years of experience (Degree required per contract).
Required Skills:
- Recent experience with Java and C# to assist in maintaining existing technologies
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, jQuery, ASP WebAPI, and/or React/Lit
- Experience working with legacy Java, JSP, native JavaScript, scriplet code
- Experience with MSSQL databases
- Demonstrated experience with complex SQL queries
- Working with application/web servers
- Proficient with Git or other version control system (VCS)
- Experience working in an Agile/DevOps process
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle
Required Clearance:
- Active Secret Clearance
Work Environment:
- This position may require on-call availability when necessary.
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
