SAIC currently has an opening for a Full Stack Web Developer, to support the Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration (S3I) Directorate at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.
Note: this position does allow flexibility to telework with a hybrid schedule consisting of 1 - 3 days onsite and candidate must reside within 50 miles of Huntsville, Alabama.
Job Description:
The candidate for this position will provide Web Development support for the suite of software tools that support organizations under the Combat Capabilities Development Command, Aviation and Missile Center.
Web Developer Responsibilities:
- Web development for various tools to include new features, enhancements and bug fixes following Agile software development principles
- Integration with SQL databases
- Investigate help desk issues to determine cause and appropriate solution
- Perform unit testing
- Participate in code reviews
- Update change request statuses on sprint board as they are implemented
- Designing user interactions on web pages
- Ensuring responsiveness of applications
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelors degree and two (2) years of experience; six (6) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
Required Clearance:
Active Secret Security Clearance
Required Skills:
- Experience with C#
- Experience with .NET Core 3+/.NET 5+
- Experience with Visual Studios (2017 or newer)
- Proficiency with fundamental front end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Desire to constantly improve your skillset and abilities
