Join a winning team!! SAIC's National Security and Space (NSS) Sector is currently hiring to advance space capabilities supporting our Department of Defense (DOD) and Intelligence Community customers.

This position is for a Ground Software Factory Representative for a large, multi-year contract supporting a cutting-edge and innovative space program. The position will be located at the Developer's software development factory in Mesa, Arizona where they are developing a state-of-the-art cloud-native satellite command and telemetry system.  The program is headquartered out of Northern Virginia and California.  The Ground Software Factory Representative oversees developer software development progress and provides support to the customer's execution of the Program with responsibilities that may include, but are not limited to the following:

Role Responsibilities:

·       Track and report Agile software development progress using Agile metrics, trend analysis, and capacity estimating validation.  Compare progress metrics with program schedule, financial and EVM reports.

·       Assess software test methodologies using automated, semi-automated and manual techniques.

·       Witness integration, verification, and validation tests.  Report results to the Program Office team.

·       Coordinate Program Office team involvement in assessing Developer system engineering designs and readiness.

·       Identify and promote best practices to improve effectiveness of Program Office processes.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

·       Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

·       Experience with the Intelligence Community and/or the Department of Defense Program Office best practices.

·       Bachelors and 9 years of relevant experience; OR Masters and 7 years of relevant experience.

·       At least 3 years experience working on a Government or Commercial satellite program.

·       Effective interpersonal skills (across multiple groups, offices, and organizations) and strong briefing and writing skills.

·       Ability to communicate to a diverse audience of senior decision makers with varying levels of programmatic and technical expertise.

·       Effective communication, coordination, and customer engagement skills.

·       Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and team environment with no supervision.

 

Desired Qualifications:

·       Satellite command and telemetry (C&T) or Command and Control (C2) experience

·       Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification.

·       System engineering requirements management experience, including requirement tracing and verification method assignment.

·       Cloud continuous integration and continuous deliver (CI/CD) technologies and implementation patterns.
