SAIC is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to provide Certification and Accreditation support to advise and assist the stakeholders with the Lifecycle Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process, and develop a Systems Security Plan (SSP). In this role, you will be responsible for assisting and maintaining a formal Information Security Program that includes recommendations on continuous improvement of the processes and architectures supporting the overall operational activities
This position is located in Chantilly, VA and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
Job responsibilities include support to the following:
- Run and execute the A&A process, greenlight records
- Run security scans
- Mitigate findings
- Perform security updates
- Perform patching and updates as needed on both Windows and Linux
- Conduct configuration systems administration
- Deploy laptops
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- Bachelors degree in management information systems, information assurance, computer engineering, or other closely related IT and cybersecurity discipline with 14 years or more experience; Masters 12 years or more experience; PhD or JD and 9 years or more experience
- Demonstrated experience with the following:
- Risk Management Framework (RMF) methodology
- Managing document repositories and databases
- Process tracking and document control software
- Technical guidance and oversight both to technical and non-technical, senior level personnel
- INFOSEC policies, regulations, and guidance
- Malware, zero-day attacks, denial of service attacks, as well as associated mitigations regarding computer and network devices
Desired Skills:
- Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor's A&A process.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
