SAIC is currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-oriented Junior Change Manager to join our team in Arlington, VA, supporting the DISA customer.

Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 to 5:00 PM core hours with occasional after hours' onsite work to support both a NIPR and SIPR environment.

Position Overview:

  • Supports the planning, implementation, and monitoring of change management activities across the program by working closely with senior change managers, project managers, task leads, and stakeholders.
  • Assist in analyzing proposed changes for potential impact on IT systems and services.
  • Maintains accurate documentation of changes and change management activities.
  • Coordinates with IT teams and stakeholders to schedule and implement changes and monitors the progress of approved changes.
  • Communicates change information to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
  • Participates in Leads Change Management meetings and effectively communicates the status of all change requests. 
  • Supports the continuous improvement of IT change management processes.
  • Provides administrative support to the change management team, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing documentation.
  • Supports the development and maintenance of change management templates and tools. Maintains accurate and organized documentation of change management plans, activities, and results.
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of change management processes.
  • Supports the maintenance of a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) that contains details of the CIs throughout the product's life cycle.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Active DOD Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 0-2 years experience in change management, project management, or a related field.
  • Possess DoD 8570.01-M/DoD 8140 Certification IAW established mandate prior to start of work - IAT Level II required (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP); IAT Level III is desirable (CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH).  Applicants not meeting this requirement will not be considered.
  • Proven track record working with ITIL practices, ISO, or other industry related best practices.
  • Experience using ServiceNow (SNOW) ticketing system.
