To address the growing demands within the Department of Defense, SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Knowledge Management Director to join our Digital and AI Team as we embark on a large initiative to lead the design and operate integrated Enterprise IT solutions that deliver AI-enabled capabilities and enable data-driven decision making to missions across the Department, Services, and Combatant Commands.
The Ideal candidate will be adept at managing customer relationships, driving operational excellence, and fostering continuous improvement across all service areas.
Core Responsibilities
- Designs and implements tools and technologies to promote knowledge management and collaboration within the enterprise.
- Draws out, captures, and categorizes business information by direct communications with end users.
- Develops storage platforms, index strategies and user interfaces for knowledge assets.
- Implements workflows and processes to manage information using collaboration and knowledge management platforms such as SharePoint.
- Applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
- Design, develop, and manage custom SharePoint sites, solutions, and workflows to meet stakeholder requirements.
- Create custom formulations and complex workflows across Power Platform, SharePoint, and Dataverse using PowerFx.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, serve as the SME on SharePoint, M365, and Power Platform projects, and provide end-user support.
- Develop enterprise solutions capable of high transaction rates for real-time processing and delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience working in an Agile Community, using Agile methodology for product and project management.
- Experience working in a DoD IT environment with engineers and technical personnel.
- US citizenship and a Secret security clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Intermediate ITIL training.
- Security+ certification
- PMI-PMP Certification.
- Experience developing and managing custom SharePoint solutions, workflows, and enterprise schemas.
- Agile ScrumMaster Certification
- AWS AI Practitioner Certification
