SAIC is seeking a highly motivated Logistics Supervisor to support the Non-Destructive Test and Evaluation Branch in project, contractor team and logistics management for the Specialized Munitions Division at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane, IN. This role offers an opportunity to apply your current skills and expertise while providing a platform for further growth, development and success.
In this position, you will collaborate with other professionals to solve challenging problems, provide technical program support in though not limited to branch logistics, quality control, standard operations, financial planning and acquisitions support, schedule planning, coordination of events, budget tracking, and test operations support critical to the Nation's security, and support our frontline warfighters. You will assist government customers and our contractor team members with various projects and tasks, while building and maintaining strategic relationships with customers, sponsors, and related industry partners.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Logistics Management: Support customers and sponsoring organizations in logistics support and coordination, project management, equipment management support, calibration, configuration management, test operations planning and related tasks. Ensure coordination with contractor and customer team members in effort to adequately prepare for success in all customer branch operations.
· Project Planning and Financial Tracking: Assist with project planning, budget tracking, and integrating test readiness activities into schedules. Conduct cost analysis, variance reporting, and track key test readiness metrics to support decision-making. Coordinate and distribute accurate status reports and support the preparation and execution of internal and external meetings, including financial planning and test readiness reviews.
- Support government and internal teams by performing document management, including generation, editing, approval, and compliance with ISO 9001-2015 and DoD standards.
- Leverage quantitative data to conduct schedule and metrics-based analysis, supporting project planning, budgeting, and test readiness reviews.
· Contractor Team Leadership: Provide oversight for individual contributors including technicians, support personnel, and experienced professionals. Ensure cohesive operations within the contractor team to meet customer productivity and satisfaction goals.
· Serve as a liaison between customer and SAIC program management. Deliver ad-hoc information and contractually required status reports, including highlights of exceptional performance, customer needs or concerns, and overall task completion and deliverable reporting.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor's and 6yrs; Associates Degree and 8 plus years of experience
· Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Ability to assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
· Self-starter capable of working both independently and collaboratively. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-paced environment and convey technical information effectively in both oral and written formats.
· Proven facilitator with the ability to engage customers, team members, and stakeholders effectively.
· Familiarity with financial and acquisition resource tracking systems.
· Experience working within ISO 9001-compliant environments, with expertise in document management and quality control.
· Proficiency with computers and Microsoft software tools (Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
· US Citizenship.
· Interim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
