JOB DESCRIPTION: 

The Navy Business Group currently has a career opportunity for a Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) Training Analyst to deliver fleet training support to Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Atlantic (EWTGL) in Virginia Beach, VA.

The ideal candidate will have experience in naval Fleet Synthetic Training (FST) and Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training. Experience with Fires and fires systems in an Amphibious Ready Group/Marine Expeditionary Unit (ARG/MEU) construct, especially USMC artillery, is highly desired. In addition, he/she will have excellent public speaking, presentation, and time management skills, as well as at least eight years of applicable experience in:

·   Conducting fleet training analyses to identify gaps, training needs, and solutions

·   Developing and modifying training event/exercise scenarios and curricula

·   Managing training projects

·   Designing custom training to meet Fleet and Joint training objectives

Specific Functional Area tasks include:

·   Coordinate with government representative during unit, staff and fleet training events to ensure the Joint Expeditionary Tactical Trainer (JETT) is configured and manned to meet all training requirements.

·   Coordinate with the other commands within Fleet Synthetic Training (FST) - CSG4, TTGL, II Marine Expeditionary Force (II MEF) Simulation Center, MSTP, etc. - to ensure interoperability and supportability between the individual and collective systems.

·   Provide synthetic training program expertise and advice to EWTGL staff.

·   Operate Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF) and MAGTF Tactical Warfare Simulation (MTWS) systems in the training environment.

·   Utilize C4I systems including Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS), Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS), Command and Control Personal Computer (C2PC), and Global Command and Control System-Maritime (GCCS-M) in support of exercises/events and daily tasks.

Qualifications

REQUIRED BACKGROUND / EDUCATION / SKILLS:

·   Must be a U.S. citizen with Secret clearance and Bachelor of Arts or Science degree.

·   Three (3) years of experience as a trainer/evaluator

·   Three (3) years of general training program analyst and Functional Area experience (4 years in lieu of degree will be considered); see detailed tasks above.

·   Must possess proven written and verbal communication skills at the junior management and senior executive level, be able to act independently, and effectively manage multiple priorities and interruptions with minimal impact on productivity and deliverables.

·   Experience in use of MS Office (e.g., Excel and PowerPoint) products.

DESIRED BACKGROUND / EDUCATION / SKILLS:

·   Significant Amphibious Ready Group / Marine Expeditionary Unit (ARG/MEU) experience, preferably with Fires and fires systems background

·   Understanding of all phases of the Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP) and familiarity with the FRTP, Fleet Training policy documents (including the Fleet Training Continuum [FTC], and Type Commander Training and Readiness manuals.

·   Master Training Specialist qualification.
