SAIC is seeking an Integrated Master Scheduler (IMS) for a future program. Work will be performed on site in Bremerton, WA with the ability to work from home some days. 

The Master Scheduler will support the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) Program. This is a unique opportunity for those passionate about advancing the U.S. Navy's critical maintenance and operational capabilities. At the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, you will excel in a dynamic environment, supporting national security needs and contributing to advancements in digital networking technologies, disaster recovery operations, encryption, and comprehensive IT infrastructure (ITIL). Additionally, you'll play a key role in refining engineering solutions, enhancing cloud-based infrastructure services, and developing new tools and processes to further the US Navy's operational effectiveness.

This position is contingent upon award, anticipated announcement in Fall 2025.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development, maintenance, and management of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to ensure successful program execution. 
  • Create detailed project schedules, track project milestones, and identify dependencies and critical paths using scheduling software and tools. 
  • Collaborate with project managers, team leads, and other stakeholders to gather schedule inputs and updates, ensuring alignment with program objectives and timelines. 
  • Monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track. 
  • Prepare and present schedule status reports, highlighting key metrics and providing insights for informed decision-making. 
  • Utilize tools such as Resource Loaded Networks (RLNs) and Earned Value methodologies to support cost/schedule baseline management and variance analyses. 
  • Contribute to new business proposals through schedule and RLN support, providing input and cost volumes to management. 
  • Enhance project efficiency and effectiveness by ensuring accurate and up-to-date scheduling information.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience, or additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree
  • Extensive experience in planning, tracking analysis, and reporting on complex projects, with proficiency in developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Resource Loaded Networks (RLNs). 

     

  • Advanced skills in implementing Earned Value methodologies, performing variance analyses, and maintaining cost/schedule baselines. 
  • Proficient in utilizing scheduling software and tools to develop and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and ensure alignment with program objectives. 
  • Strong capability in preparing Management Status Reports (MSRs), identifying potential risks, and implementing corrective actions. 
  • Expertise in program management support, including leading project kick-off meetings and overseeing transition-in and transition-out processes. 
  • Effective in collaborating with project managers, contracts, and senior technical personnel, providing strategic insights and recommendations for project efficiency.

Location: Must live in the local area, or be willing to relocate at the time of award (Note: No relocation funds are available)

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
