SAIC is seeking a MCIS Facilities Manager to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA.

Job Description:

The MCIS facilities and logistics support analyst is responsible for planning and managing requirements for all MCIS and subordinate Marine Detachment (MARDET) installation projects Under the direction of the MCIS Resource Director the facilities and logistics support analyst will assist in the coordination and assessment of facilities repair, remodel and or building acquisition efforts.  The analysts will be well versed in USMC or U.S. Navy installation facilities maintenance processes and logistics support including inventory accountability, shipping and receiving, identifying and writing facility maintenance requirements (SOW/PWS), management of Class III property, security procedures, and other facilities/logistics needs.  Other primary functions include interaction with military base facilities entities, coordination with subcontractors, and other tasks directed by MCIS leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in task analysis of supply and logistics requirements for headquarters and detachments at multiple locations. 
  • Act as a consultant experienced in applicable Marine Corps orders (MCO), unit orders and supply and logistics policies.
  • Coordinate with MCIS MARDETs to appropriately to assist with the management of government-furnished property (GFP).
  • Provide inventory management and receipt inspection to support headquarters.
  • Functional support to inspections and maintenance needs.
  • Coordinate packaging, shipping, and ancillary supply/logistics duties as required.

Location and Travel:

  • This position is based at Fort Belvoir, VA, supporting MIRC facility operations. The analyst will primarily work onsite with limited travel requirements (CONUS) for inspections, assessments, and meetings (~10%).

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • High School diploma and six (6) years or more of related experience; per program specifications, a Bachelor's degree will not be accepted in lieu of experience.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of facility management processes, logistics operations, and DoD compliance procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience in facility security, maintenance coordination, and logistics planning.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, capable of conveying complex information to various audiences.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Familiarity with military installation facility protocols and regulations preferred.

Required Clearance:

  • Must have an active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI Security Clearance.
