This role serves as a strategic advisor to Army Navy Group EVP and market leadership team in support of growth initiatives and focus areas to meet organizational goals.  Major focus areas of this advisory role will include:

 

Strategic Program Assessment & Enhancement

  • Evaluate and refine organizational strategic plans, providing expert guidance to strengthen ongoing initiatives and future objectives across key defense sectors.

Mission Integration & Capability Development

  • Advise on approaches to implement major force design initiatives, focusing on mission integration, technology modernization, and operational excellence within priority areas such as software, cybersecurity, logistics, and acquisitions.

Stakeholder Engagement & Partnership Coordination

  • Facilitate collaboration between the organization and senior leaders, acquisition authorities, and key external entities to advance mission objectives and foster strategic partnerships.

Portfolio & Growth Strategy Optimization

  • Assess and optimize the organization's portfolio and growth strategies, recommending improvements and expansion opportunities to drive business success.

Contract Management & Business Development

  • Evaluate existing contracts, promote best-in-class contractual practices, and support business development efforts—including unsolicited proposals—to expand organizational offerings and secure new work.

Resource Allocation & Technology Targeting

  • Analyze funding streams and allocation processes, advising on the pursuit of emerging technologies that align with service priorities and maximize organizational impact.

Qualifications

Requires a minimum of 10 year of experience within industry

  • Demonstrated expertise in enterprise-level strategic planning and assessment
  • Experience in portfolio management and growth strategy optimization
  • Business development and operational turnaround expertise
  • Advanced stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills
  • Ability to successfully facilitate collaboration with senior leaders, acquisition authorities, and external entities
