SAIC is seeking a to support the United States Air Force's acquisition of the Sentinel (GBSD) ICBM program at Hill AFB. This program is one of the Air Force's top modernization priorities, ensuring a safe, secure, and effective nuclear deterrent.
The Modeling, Simulation, Analysis Engineer will develop and apply system-level models and simulations to analyze Sentinel system performance, conduct trade studies, and provide decision-quality data to program stakeholders. You will work closely with government and industry partners, supporting requirements analysis, mission effectiveness assessments, and digital engineering integration.
Responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining models and simulations of Sentinel subsystems and mission scenarios.
- Conducting performance, sensitivity, and AoA trade studies.
- Supporting requirements decomposition and verification planning with MBSE tools (Cameo, DOORS, Teamcenter).
- Preparing technical reports and decision briefings for Air Force leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelors in engineering, Math, Physics, or related STEM field
7+ years of experience (5+ years with a master's degree) in modeling/simulation/analysis for aerospace or defense systems.
Proficiency in tools such as MATLAB, Python, AFSIM, STK, or Simulink.
Active DoD Secret clearance required.
