SAIC is seeking a Live Virtual Constructive Event Scheduler in San Diego, CA.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
SAIC is in need of a Scheduler for Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) training events. LVC training events span the deployment cycle for Carrier Strike Groups, Expeditionary Strike Groups, Amphibious Ready Groups/Marine Expeditionary Units and other military forces. The position also supports execution of LVC events. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who is passionate about training and ensuring our Naval Forces are fully trained and ready for deployment. Place of performance is San Diego, CA, with occasional travel to Fleet Concentration Areas. Work is in support of war games and integrated fleet training.
JOB DUTIES:
Support development, maintain, and improve existing LVC exercise and event scheduling products for internal and external customers.
Provide various customers with scheduling products and analysis to ensure supportability across all resourcing constraints including personnel, equipment, and facilities.
Work as part of a small team of LVC subject matter experts in development and execution of advanced warfare scenarios and other curricula as part of fleet training requirements for Carrier Strike Group and Expeditionary Strike Group Commanders and staffs, subordinate Warfare Commanders and staffs, and individual units.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:
Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years or more of related experience.
Experience as a squadron, staff, or range schedules or C4I Systems Officer, or equivalent experience in training resource, systems and requirement allocation.
Experience with FRTP and schedules, training architecture, manpower, facility and supporting systems limitations.
Candidate must be a US Citizen.
Active Secret clearance required.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
