SAIC is seeking a Network Engineer Associate to support our Navy team in San Diego, CA.
Job Description:

Ensure system hardware/software installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities are conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Ensuring that system is made operational and available, at times specified by the customer.

Ensuring the system is configured in accordance with the Program's Configuration and Data Management Plans.

Prepares the analysis of short/long term capacity needs for switching, routing transmission, and signaling.

May conduct network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies as well as internal studies of network performance and traffic analysis.

May evaluate new technology.

Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture; providing information for hardware and software selection; and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.

Conducts testing of network systems.
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelors degree and zero (0) or more years of college coursework in a technical field; Additional four (4) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
Required Skills:
Familiarity with networking architecture.
Experience troubleshooting and maintenance of network systems.
Proficiency in testing networking systems.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required.
