SAIC is looking for an energetic and strategic performance Senior Principal to join our enterprise Total Rewards and Performance team. Reporting into the Senior Vice President, Total Rewards and Performance, the Performance Management Senior Principal role works closely with stakeholders across the HR function and leaders within the business, to ensure an effective performance management framework and create a culture of continuous feedback, growth, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Communication:
- Develop and manage performance management content, including email communications, talking points/FAQs, training materials and other documents/communications as needed.
- Ensure clear and effective communications regarding performance management processes and intentions.
- Project/Change Management:
· Lead change and stakeholder management/engagement.
- Stay current on industry trends and continuously refine and manage performance management content using Performance Management principles and practices.
- Develop and deliver training programs tied to performance management and the ability to coach and train managers on effective performance management driving a culture of feedback.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with various teams on key projects and initiatives, managing input from multiple stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
- Work closely across Human Resources teams to advance project deliverables, maintain progress, and adhere to timelines.
- Reporting & Metrics:
- Assist in developing internal reports and tracking performance metrics.
- Design and implement evaluation processes to continuously update scorecards, leveraging performance data and business metrics to identify improvement areas.
- Tech-Related Performance Metrics:
- Lead discussions with IT teams on system enhancement requirements to streamline processes including system testing and validation.
- Manage and assess the effectiveness of training, implementing updates based on data analysis.
- Partner with IT and analytics teams to design and build advanced dashboards and reporting systems for leadership, providing insightful performance data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR with a focus on performance management.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing performance management systems and processes.
- Strong background in change management and change communications.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively including use of PowerBI and excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in HRIS and performance management software, preferably Oracle HCM.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
