SAIC seeks a Staff Officer/Program Analyst to join our team in providing program support within our customer's IT Security Services Program Office. This position is located in Springfield, VA. 

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, demonstrate excellent oral and written communication, and be comfortable interacting with senior-level directors and/or agency heads. Additionally, a sense of urgency and experience executing and completing rapid turn-around and short-suspense tasks/actions items is a must. The candidate will be responsible for the management of multiple support actions to include t formal and informal taskings, civilian awards, interagency agreements, space management and records management. Candidate must show initiative and have strong problem-solving skills. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating appointments and meetings as well as managing the calendars/schedules of the Director and Deputy Director. Plan, coordinate and ensure the office leadership's schedule is followed. Prepare read-ahead materials. 

  • Schedule, update and manage office meeting records, update and maintain meeting agendas and provide recommendations for improvements to ad-hoc and recurring meetings. Coordinate required logistics to include scheduling conference rooms and setting up video-teleconferencing connections for meetings such as program management reviews, staff meetings, and town halls. 

  • Attend meetings and take detailed meeting notes to include actions due. Maintain a repository of meeting minutes on SharePoint.

  • Lead, track, coordinate, and respond to formal taskings using customer's tracking system, NCERTS. Brief office leadership on the status of all taskings and send periodic updates to staff.

  • Serve as the Primary Information Officer to lead, manage and administer the office records management program and provide updates to leadership as required. Coordinate with the NGA Records Management Program Office.

  • Serve as office lead for the management of the civilian awards program. Solicit, edit, submit and track awards to include annual, quarterly and ad-hoc awards for leadership review and approval. 

  • Serve as lead for office Inter-Agency Agreements (IAA). Track, proof, edit and submit office IAAs in accordance with DoW and customer support agreement policies and guidelines.

  • Review and edit documents to include talking points, white papers, and briefing slides.

  • Assist int the development of Standard Operating Procedures and checklists, make process improvement recommendations as required.

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer office management policies, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Support the IT Security Services Program Office and leadership team with other office tasking support as required.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills. 
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with senior-level directors and/or agency heads.
  • 11-14 years of demonstrated experience, skill and expertise leading, managing and working office support including but not limited to creating diagrams, checklists, SOPs, manuals, and handbooks.
  • Experience in planning and leading sub-tasks and projects.
  • 11-14 years of demonstrated experience in effective data gathering and presentation in order to compile effective recommendations or responses to aid in senior-leader decision-making. 
  • 11-14 years of demonstrated experience applying critical thinking, problem-solving and analytic skills in support of office operations. Must be capable of responding to requests of a regular and ad-hoc nature with minimum direction and supervision. 
  • Demonstrated experience executing and completing rapid turn-around and short-suspense tasks/actions items. 
  • 11-14 years of demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products, with a specific emphasis on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook applications.

Desired Skills and Experience: 

  • Knowledge of NCERTS. 
  • Familiarity with Civilian Awards processes. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Intelligence Community; Department of Defense; and other Intel Directorates.
  • Demonstrated experience with using MS SharePoint.
