SAIC is hiring a Program Analyst in O'Fallon, IL to work closely with stakeholders and developers to maintain and improve mission-critical custom applications for our government customer. This role requires a blend of leadership, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills to ensure that our software solutions align with business objectives and meet user needs. The role will require the ability to contribute in a hybrid remote environment providing 24x7 support for mission-critical applications under pressure and time constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists in the design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of new software and enhancements of existing applications.
- Works with leadership, developers, and end users to ensure applications meet business requirements.
- Plan and prioritize software development tasks, ensuring timely delivery.
- Manage tasking and report progress for software development team.
- Analyze user requirements, standard procedures, and problems reported from production to improve existing systems.
- Oversee timely resolution of issues reported from internal testing and from production.
- Work closely with stakeholders and other departments to support DOD customer mission.
Qualifications
Bachelors and 3+ years; Master's and 1+ years of experience. Experience may be substituted for degree.

- Familiarity with GATES (Global Air Transportation Execution System) is an advantage"
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with project management tools and practices.
- Experience with DOD Passenger Movement processes a huge plus.
Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
