Job Summary: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Assurance Analyst to join our talented team. In this role, you will execute programs and processes to uphold quality standards for products and services, focusing on continuous improvement. You will assist in formulating policies, procedures, and methods to assess the quality of products, materials, and components.
Work is performed on site in Norfolk, VA and Virginia Beach, VA.
This position is contingent upon award news Spring of 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality checks by spotting small defects and inconsistencies that could affect product quality
- Report quality issues to management
- Use logical and creative thinking to identify, analyze, and solve quality issues
- Convey information accurately and on time
- Understand the minimum acceptable quality level for a product or service
- Use quality assurance processes and tools to ensure products meet standards
- Collect inspection reports
- Investigate quality complaints
- Work with various departments to improve quality
- Monitor processes and inspecting products
- Implement processes to establish and maintain quality standards of products and services.
- Enact policies, procedures and methods to check product, material, components and/or operational quality.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High school Diploma, related military experience, trade/industrial school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of professional experience in quality control, preferably in Department of Defense (DoD) systems such as Electronics/Navigation Systems.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), data analysis tools, and relevant quality management systems (ISO 9001).
- Knowledge of various inspection techniques, testing procedures, and quality control methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify root causes and develop effective solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate quality issues and findings to stakeholders
- High level of attention to detail to ensure thorough inspection and accurate data collection
- Familiarity with quality measurement tools and techniques
- Ability to interpret technical documents and specifications
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality control software
- Demonstrated communication and teamwork abilities.
Required Security Clearance:
- US Citizenship required.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
- Active Interim Secret or final Secret clearance is preferred.
