SAIC is looking for a Senior Logistics Analyst with military logistic and acquisition experience to work in our Indianapolis, IN office.
We are looking for a detail-oriented leader with a thorough knowledge of the logistics tasks and products required in all phases of the DoD Integrated Defense Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics Life Cycle Management System. Responsibilities include interfacing with customers on product supportability, analyzing product requirements, ensuring ergonomic and maintainable designs, optimizing workflows and processes, reducing inefficiency, and ensuring that products meet the letter and spirit of the user's needs.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing schedules, processes, specifications, and related information.
- Designing processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades.
- Developing design, production, and sustainment standards in cooperation with management and customers/users.
- Managing material and equipment lists, optimizing the supply chain, and supporting cost analyses (development, production, and sustainment).
- Support engineers with DMSMS and obsolescence issues
- Develop and produce Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) Prediction Report and FMECA.
- Develop Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).
- Develop Maintenance Plans (MP)
- Support travel and logistics meetings as needed.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of related experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Required Skills:
- DoD Acquisition experience is required.
- DoD Logistics experience is required.
Required Clearance:
- Must have an active Secret clearance or be able to obtain one.
Desired
- Familiarity with Navy supply system and Navy aircraft maintenance system highly desired.
- Experience with Navy training curriculum, operations, policy, and doctrine.
- Provisioning experience is a plus.
