SAIC seeks an experienced Senior Logistics Analyst to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in performing operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to US and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions in support of the government customer, the SAIC Program Manager, and the Chief Engineer. This position is in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  

Job Duties:

  • Provide expert obsolescence engineering support to multiple program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
  • Conduct thorough analyses including obsolescence, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMSMS), sparing, risk, and operational impact assessments.
  • Present analysis results effectively through comprehensive written communications in the Quarterly Contracts Data Requirements List (CDRL) Supportability Analysis Report, and verbally during monthly Supply Support IPT meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with vendors, depot engineers, and logisticians to develop and implement actionable recommendations for obsolescence mitigation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

  • Active Secret Clearance.

  • Proficiency in interpreting and understanding technical documentation such as Technical Orders, Indentured Parts Lists, and Specification Sheets.

  • Proficiency in analyzing, managing, and mitigating obsolescence risks for critical systems, components, and products. 

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement obsolescence strategies, including alternate solutions, redesigns, and supplier engagement.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
