SAIC is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Air Ground Interoperability and Integration Lab (AGIIL) in support of the Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration Directorate at Redstone Arsenal, AL (Huntsville, AL).

Job Duties:

• Facilitate rapid integration and testing of aviation-based networking equipment using DoDI 5000.89 and MIL-STD-810G to facilitate upgrades, new systems, or modernization efforts.
• Analyze project requirements and author detailed test plans and procedures to assess system functionalities.
• Validate military messaging systems, including COT (MIL-STD-2525) VMF (MIL-STD-6017), and JREAP(MIL-STD-3011), ensuring compliance with external customer specifications.
• Engineer and manage complex network architectures, incorporating SDWAN, LAN, and Cisco Infrastructure, leveraging CCNA expertise.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelors and nine (9) years of relevant experience; Masters degree and seven (7) years of relevant experience; 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.

Required Security Clearance:

• Must have an active Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required).

Required Skills:

• Implement network data collection systems including Wireshark, VTT, IMS, NSITE, to monitor and analyze network traffic effectively.
• DoD 10 Years of Experience & Network Testing and Troubleshooting 

Desired Skills:

• Experience in Broadcast and Multicast systems, enhancing network management through effective node and network discovery tools.
