SAIC is hiring a Solutions Delivery/Machinery Analyst in Panama City Beach, FL.

SAIC is seeking a multi-faceted and experienced team member with the ability to program and operate both CNC and manual mills and lathes in a prototype & production setting, perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks, along with various other duties. The work will be supporting multiple DoD customers in areas such as mine countermeasures, air cushion vehicles, and unmanned systems. The ideal candidate will also have welding experience and the ability to coordinate multiple fabrication projects simultaneously.

Work will be performed onsite 5 days a week in Panama City, FL. Local candidates are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform and log preventive maintenance on shop machinery.
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC machinery.
  • Perform various mechanical/electrical assembly duties and fabricate from engineering drawings.
  • Work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature, where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
  • Use a computer to complete work tasks and quality process documents.
  • Supervise project work teams and new hires as necessary.

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's and two (2) years or more experience OR six (6) years of related experience considered in lieu of degree.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to suggest manufacturing process improvements and work closely with engineering staff.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with HAAS CNC Mills, Lathes, and applicable tooling.
  • Experience with CNC machinery.
  • Experience with Quality Assurance practices.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using standard measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Experience with welding, sheet metal fabrication, painting, electrical assembly.
  • Experience using computers, including email, Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Faro Arm measurement systems.
  • CNC Programming.

Required Clearance:

  • Must be a US citizen to apply. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
