SAIC is looking for a Sr Principal Systems Engineer – Integration in San Diego, CA.
SAIC is looking for cleared Systems Engineering candidates for providing high quality system of systems integration services, planning, and architecture development supporting an Intelligence, Reconnaissance and Surveillance (ISR) program for our DoD customer within Program Executive Office, Command, Control, Computers, Communications, and Intelligence (PEO C4I). This position provides technical assistance and recommendations regarding the integration and implementation of Battlespace Awareness and Information Operations (IO) services within existing and emerging infrastructures between ISR tools, Command and Control (C2) systems/capabilities, and Combat Systems/capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the external interfaces of the SSEE-F and Spectral systems to ensure viable paths regardless of hosted network.
· Review and comment on Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) from the prime contractor.
· Analyze required system capabilities of multiple systems to determine integration requirements and define challenges and develop plans to address requirements.
· Understand the Application Integration System Integration Test (AI SIT) process used by the US Navy for system releases to evaluate whether the new or enhanced applications and services work with other interfacing systems.
· Use operational experience and technical expertise to collaborate with the Functional Team Lead for assessing requirements, designing, executing, developing, and integrating technical solutions on IO platforms (afloat and ashore).
· Conduct systems / system of systems architecture design, integration, testing, experimentation, implementation, integration, and cyber certification activities.
· Assist in development and update of IO systems technical documentation during system development.
· Interface with various levels of program leadership: project managers, task and functional leaders, and product owners.
· Control of interface requirements to reduce costs, increasing efficiency, and improving the quality of the programs and projects.
· Provide analysis of capabilities and software tools.
· Support Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Engineering teams to develop digital representations and models of the system to support interface development.
· Analyze applicable concepts of employment and/or concepts of operation to gain context in the requirements and engineering process.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD and 4 years related experience. Applicable military experience with IO/ISR systems experience is acceptable in lieu of advanced education.
Security Clearance
US Citizen with an active TS/SCI
Required Skills:

· Ability to brief senior government personnel
· Ability to explore and examine data from multiple disparate sources with the goal of drawing conclusions to address business problems
Desired Skills and Certifications:
· Degree in Science, Engineering or Math
· Prior Military experience with ISR/IO systems
· INCOSE ASEP/CSEP
Desired Experience:
· Agile Application Development technologies and capabilities in the areas of software development/application testing, systems engineering and/or integration
· Experience using the Rational DOORS requirements management tool
· Experience working with Model-Based Systems Engineering software tools, such as Enterprise Architect or No Magic CAMEO
· Test documents include Test Plan(s) with specifics of operational testing and evaluation
· IC data repositories: MIDB, NIODB, USELMS, EWIR, and/or MPED.
· ELINT, SIGINT, COMINT, and/or MASINT collection processes, capabilities, and technical parameters
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
